Central Ohio Chapter Programs

Parole Block Program: Petitions are sent nationwide through National POMC to collect signatures blocking paroles for your loved one's murderer's release. If you are facing the parole hearing of your loved one's murderer, please contact the Central Ohio Chapter at ohiohugs@sbcglobal.net for more information. There are some restrictions regarding lead time and fees.

Memorial Quilt: 12” x 12” square of muslin is provided for you to create a memorial to your loved one. Your only guide lines are 1/2” margin around the edges. Completed squares include pictures, embroidery, patchwork, and cross-stitch. Contact Debbie at ohiohugs@sbcglobal.net to request a square.

Memorial Plaques: The chapter currently has five plaques, containing the names and dates of births/deaths of loved ones. The cost is a nominal $10 and covers the engraving of each individual plate. Contact the Chapter at ohiohugs@sbcglobal.net to request more information.

Picture Board: On display during special events and monthly meetings, pictures should be no larger than 5X7. All you need do is provide a picture with your loved one's name, date of birth and date of death written on the back. (Pictures will not be returned) Pictures should be sent to: Central Ohio Chapter POMC, PO Box 23936, Columbus, Oh 43223.
